I'm at the Town Office

Hello friends! I hope that all is going well with you it has been so long since my last post I'm so sorry about that. Things are still going well out in my parts and I'm having a great time but as you can probably guess I'm also really busy which is not necessarily a bad thing. Although today when I was driving into the town office in Asheville for the second time (about a 1.5 hour drive) I was thinking that I haven't really taken a day just to sleep in and be lazy and watch movies since I started this whole outward bound craziness. And yes you guessed right that still isn't going to happen anytime soon. I actually have the next 3 days off, can you believe it... 3 days in a row how cool is that. But the reason that I'm at the town office is so that a bunch of us can leave bright and early in the morning to go and paddel onthe the chatooga. We are going out for the 6th and the 7th and willc amp in between so it should be a good time. Then on the 8th I'm tossing around the idea of going climbing, but not sure if that is going to work out. We might just hang out around Asheville and chill out with people and go to the bar or soemthing of that nature.

The first round of courses that I worked in June went really well. i got to go out on climbing days and expedition days with the crews that I was working with. The students were great and I learned quite a bit from them. It is fun to see how the outward bound experience shapes their perspective and what they think abnout the whole thing, a very aswesome thing to be part of that is for sure. I'm definitely thinking that being an instructor this fall would be a wonderful experience so I'm leaning towards doing that for a bit. Other then that, I can't seem to think of what else to write. I think the paddleing people are going to have a talk real quick to deide on the time to leave and the section we will paddle and all of that other good stuff.
